Dale and Cloyce Preedy, along with Emmett Wright, started Preedy’s Tire & Automotive in 1964 just a couple blocks away from our current location. It wasn’t long before the boys realized there was a need for a new kind of tire and auto repair facility in Spokane, and the concept of a customer driven repair center was born.
Simply put, Preedy’s does the repairs our customers want and need. In 1974 we moved into our new, larger facility at 703 E. Pacific where we still do business today. Dale, Cloyce, and Emmett are retired now, but you can still find them hanging around the shop from time to time visiting with customers. A lot of things have changed since 1964, but our philosophy hasn’t—Take care of the customer’s car as though it were our own.
